Thoroughbred Classic - Mixed Doubles Open Division

Ponder Pickleball is pumped to be back! We are teaming up with our favorite partner, Pickleball Paddock, to host the 2nd Annual Thoroughbred Classic's Open / Moneyball Divisions. 

Mixed Doubles division will be played on Sunday, March 8th starting at 211am. Format and draw details are below: 

• Field will be made up of a max of 15 mixed doubles teams
• Team average DUPR of 4.5 is required to register
• Draw will be split into three pools of 5 teams, 4 game RR (games to 15 by 2) and then top 2 from each pool will move onto a single elimination bracket
• QF round will be played to 15 by 2, SF / F will be 2/3 to 11 by 2
• Lifetime 48 ball will be used
• All results will be logged to DUPR

Mixed Doubles Division Payouts
1st place team - $1,000
2nd place team - $400
3rd place team - $200

Registered Teams

When registering, you will receive a survey that asks your current DUPR rating and to name your partner. Please respond to this survey so registration can be kept up to date. 

A registration fee ($100 per division) must be paid for each player. Both can be paid for / registered at the same time, but both players must be paid and registered for the team's spot to be secured in the draw. 

Last date to withdraw and receive a refund will be Friday, February 27th.
