Open Division - Spring Moneyball - April 12th

Welcome to Ponder Pickleball's Spring Moneyball!
Tournament date is Saturday, April 12th at Pickleball Paddock. 

Format & Division Details

• Open Division will begin at 8am
• Registration will have no DUPR rating or gender restrictions and will be capped at 20 teams. 
• Considering a full division, the draw will be split into four pools of 5, where we will play a 4-game round robin, with the top 2 teams from each pool moving onto the medal rounds. Event will have a 4-game minimum, even without full participation. 
• Following pool play and seeding, the top 8 teams will play a single elimination bracket to decide the winners. 
• RR/pool play games will be played to 15, win by 1. 
• Quarterfinals and Semifinal rounds will be played to 15, win by 2. 
• Finals will be best 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2. 3rd place game will be played to 15, win by 2. 
• All matches will be logged to DUPR. 
• We will be using Core pickleballs for this event.

Open Division Payouts

1st place team - $1600
2nd place team - $800
3rd place team - $400 
*open division must reach 16 teams to receive full payouts*

BOTH PLAYERS MUST COMPLETE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT FOR TEAM SIGN UP TO BE COMPLETE.
Withdraw before Monday, April 7th to receive a full refund (minus processing fees). No refunds will be issued after April 7th.
