December 7th - Women's 5.0 & Below Recap

We were excited to hold our first women's division and it delivered some great pickleball! We ended the round robin with two 4-1 teams atop the leaderboard, Tracy Wolfe/Mariko Shimada and Andrea Hicks/Helena Weiss, but Tracy/Mariko earned the #1 seed, as they held the head-to-head tie breaker. Marlee Ponder/Karrie Thompson earned the #3 seed and Mary Kate Hayden/Kaiden Walden made it out of round robin play as the #4 seed.

The medal rounds saw the #4 upset the #1 seed, as MK/Kaiden beat Tracy/Mariko 15-11 and earned their way to the finals.
Andrea/Helena beat out Marlee/Karrie 15-9 to give us an all UK student finals!

Andrea & Helena came out on top over MK & Kaiden, 15-12 to win our women's division!
